Privacy Policy
This policy covers lexxandcoo.com, the website of Lex & Co, a hair salon at 7109 E 2nd St #106, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. It explains what we collect when you book, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Nothing. This website has no forms, no accounts, no newsletter, no chat widget and no shop. There is nothing here to fill in, so there is nothing for us to receive.
It sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session tracking and no third-party script of any kind. We do not know who visits, how often, or where from. We do not build a profile of you, and we have nothing to sell or share even if we wanted to.
Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs, as every web server does. Those record the address of the request and what was asked for.
Booking, and where your details actually go
Booking happens on our stylists’ own systems, not here. Every “Book” button leaves this site.
Booking with Lex takes you to her page on Square, who run the appointment system and process the payment. Anything you enter there — your name, your contact details, your card — you give to Square, under Square’s privacy policy and the salon’s Square account. It never passes through this website. We never see your card number, and neither does this site.
The four booth renters — Nikki, Lucia, Alexis and Ryanne — run their own independent businesses on their own booking systems. What you give them is between you and them; the salon does not receive it and this policy does not cover it.
The practical version: if you have booked an appointment and want to know what is held about you, ask whoever you booked with, and for Lex that means the salon’s Square records.
How long the salon keeps it
This site keeps nothing, because it collects nothing.
The salon’s appointment and customer records live in Square. We keep them while you are a client, and afterwards for as long as we have a legal or tax reason to — business records have to be kept for a period whether we would like to or not. Payment records are held by Square under their own policy and the card schemes’ rules.
You can ask us to delete your record at any time, and we will, except for anything we are legally required to hold on to. You do not have to give a reason.
Your choices
For anything the salon holds through Square — your appointment history, contact details or a stored card — email lexandco.salon@gmail.com or call (480) 382-7029 and ask us to send it to you, correct it, or delete it. We will act on it within 30 days, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. The requests above are open to everyone regardless.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Appointments for minors should be booked by a parent or guardian.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and runs no third-party code. It holds no credentials, no database and no personal information, because it collects none — the surest way to keep something safe is not to have it.
Changes
If we change what we collect we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the booking page.
