Booking & Cancellation Policy
This is Lex’s policy. It applies to appointments booked with Lex through this website, which is the only booking this site takes. Nikki, Lucia, Alexis and Ryanne rent chairs at Lex & Co and run their own independent businesses — they set their own booking and cancellation terms, and nothing on this page applies to them. If you booked with one of them, ask them directly.
The deposit
A nonrefundable deposit equal to 20% of your scheduled service is required when booking. This deposit reserves the time selected specifically for you and will be applied toward your final service balance.
Booking, the deposit and the balance are all handled on Lex’s Square booking page (opens in a new tab), where you will see the exact amount before you confirm. This website takes no bookings and never sees your card — see the privacy policy.
Rescheduling
Appointments may be rescheduled one time without losing the deposit when at least 72 hours’ notice is provided. Rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited, and a new 20% deposit will be required to book another appointment.
To reschedule, call (480) 382-7029 or email lexandco.salon@gmail.com. The salon is open Monday – Saturday, 10:00 – 6:30, so please allow for that when counting your notice — and Lex’s own days are on her booking page.
Cancellations
All cancellations will result in the deposit being forfeited, regardless of when the cancellation is made. Deposits are nonrefundable and cannot be transferred to another client or applied toward a different service.
No-shows
No-shows will forfeit their deposit, and a new 20% deposit will be required before booking another appointment.
Arriving late
If you arrive late, your service may need to be shortened, modified or rescheduled. If the scheduled service cannot be completed, the deposit may be forfeited.
If we have to cancel
If Lex & Co. needs to cancel your appointment and cannot provide an alternative date that works for you, you may choose to transfer your deposit or receive a refund.
Agreement
By booking your appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
